Chris Mouton
My story
I’m Chris Mouton, a 17-year-old high school student, and I have a little addiction to fitness. Ever since I was little, I was one of the chubbier kids, and being the shortest among my friends did not help. Though I was not bullied for it, I was not happy with myself.
When lockdown hit in 2020, I promised to make a change, but like all resolutions, I did not stick to it. It was not until the end of 2020 that I decided to commit to a 90-day body transformation, and for the first time, I stuck to it. That was when my fitness journey began, and I started doing calisthenics the following year.
In 2021, I decided to join a gym. I joined in January, then stopped, joined again in April, and stopped again. I tried joining for the third time, hoping I would like it. I joined again in June of 2021, and I guess the third time’s a charm because I got hooked. I also started my fitness influencer journey and created my social media profiles.
Since then, I have competed in a bodybuilding competition, which was a dream of mine. Along my journey, I have experienced many ups and downs, which was not particularly easy, but I kept my eyes on the goal and have set a new goal to compete again in 2025 if everything goes according to plan.
If you have read this far, I hope you can take inspiration from my story, even if you are not into fitness. Use this as motivation to reach your goals. Remember, with determination and commitment, anything is possible.
